Exchanges
Students in 4th/5th year have the opportunity each year to participate in a language exchange programme with partner schools in Bergerac, France or Wiesbaden, Germany. The exhange alternates between France and Germany each year. Students have a visiting student from Bergerac or Wiesbaden to stay in their home for a week around October. A series of activities is arranged for the visitors and their host students to help the students learn about Irish culture and education. After Christmas the Scoil ChaitrÃona students spend a week in France or Germany and are treated to a similar experience, In 2011-2012 the exchange will be to Wiesbaden.
